Background Information:
The Clark Avenue Bridge was in existence from 1912 to 1980. This bridge was Cleveland's longest bridge totaling a length of 6,687 feet. It consisted of steel trusses and was built by Cleveland in 1912. The bridge was actually three separate bridges. Eventually, the Clark Avenue Bridge was replace by Interstate 490.
