The current Harvard-Denison Bridge is 3000 feet long. It is located at the same location as the previous bridge except that the west end is curved approximately 150 feet to the north, to a connection with Denison Avenue and West 14th Street. The main purpose for the design was to accommodate the Jennings Freeway. The construction plans for the current bridge were made by the firm of Howard, Needles, Tammen and Bergendoff.
